I've heard that creativity can be defined as the ability to link ideas, memories and experiences in original ways. I guess my chaotic range of experience comes in handy here.
From my unconventional 4 year gap year I grew to understand the importance of acquiring what a lot of people call "life experience".
At the age of 18 I moved to Berlin to explore Europe and play rugby for the Berlin Grizzlies (if you didn't think Germany played rugby, you'd be right). After my year and a half of abroad I wanted to try and achieve my life long dream. Become a professional rugby player in New Zealand!
So that didn't work out..... (long story)
I then moved to Melbourne to pursue my new found dream of becoming an advertising expert.

This has been a steep learning curve but one that I have always been eager to fulfill. From the initial brand research all the way through to talent acquisition and social media management this has been (and continues to be) a great experience. In this role I manage and brief the creative team to ensure the business runs like a well oiled machine. I make sure we are adhering to the brand guidelines and all our content is on top of current trends and consumer needs.

After a few months interning at Penda I was offered a part time role as a Junior Creative. As the business expanded and my job refined, I took on the new position as Campaign Manager. My day to day tasks have evolved to managing deadlines, briefing the designers and ensuring campaigns run efficiently, communicating with the Creative Director (who is working internationally) and forming creative campaign strategies for our clients.

As the Marketing Manager at Voiteck, I was assigned a number of fast paced marketing campaigns to complete. Being a freelancer, I completed most of the work from home, creating short animated promotional videos to post on social media in a successful effort to increase brand and product awareness.
